Project Process- organization, phases, steps, cost formats examples. 

1- Process Diagram 2024- step by step hierarchical process to guide a project

2- Existing conditions documentation- the neighborhood, building, spaces/new site are documented/photographed- dimensions are determined, existing finishes/systems/structure is reviewed- a base set of drawings is prepared.

3- Program/activities- initial questions and discussions set up what is to be designed for: activities/functions, relationships, spaces/rooms/yards, client goals, idea of budgets are proposed; the idea of the Project is described.

4- Zoning and Building Code basics are identified- requirements which may shape design, budget and construction are identified.

5- Early sketches and drawings are presented, revised and tweaked.

6- Quantifiable Schematic Plan diagrams are used to describe various work scopes/elements for Owner and Contractor confirmation and communication.

7- The previous work diagrams translate into information and construction types' line items (spreadsheet) to track estimates, costs, revisions, payments, progress through-out the project.
